1. Zombies
Almost 99.9% of the worlds population has become the living dead and you are one of the few survivors constantly moving from town to town in the shadows looking for food n water etc.
The zombies are plentiful where ever you go so basically you are stuck living in cardboard boxes or out in the bush where nobody can find you.
2. Post Nuclear War
After several years of world wars almost all countries suffer unrecoverable losses, with all supplies and medical care deminished the only realistically livable places are hazardous terrain and enviromental effects.
Very few people remain.
3. Alien Invasion.
In the near future after being invaded by a hostel colony earth is almost brought to total destruction most people have been killed and the ones remaining are are on the run or serve the aliens as food reserves.
4. Massive Cimate change.
Huge Storms desolate tempretures on both ends of the scale, volcanic activity, earthquakes are just a few of mother natures vindicitive fury apon the earth raviging the earth and leaving only a few places of survival.
5. Robot Uprising.
Advanced Technology allowed for huge leaps in AI Which propelled computers to begin to think for themselfs, apon mass production of robotic weapons they were used against humans and began total destruction, only technology free islands such as isolated islands are the only remaining safe zones.
Robots are able to use human equipment such as transport and weapons.
So, which post apocaliptic world would you choose to live in?
Pretty much all of the options leave you with little survival chances how ever its up to you to decide.
