Scarce Suspicion
Prologue
Rose was birthed by a wealthy family, in fact her father helped the ruler regularly but her mother Stella had already birthed two daughters. When her father Andre found his wife, had birthed yet another girl he was enraged. Before Rose was even named her father had left her on a road alone. After hours of screaming a poor women Alexandra, found Rose and brought her to the shack where she was welcomed to the family and named Rose.
Rose grew up working in fields and sewing. Every night she had straw taken from her hair and needles pulled out of her hand. She wore rags held by string. Alexandra often sat with Rose late at night, saying nothing after they had picked up the shack and extinguished the fire. She was awoken by Alexandra every morning and made a fire, then she went out to fill a rusty pot with water.
Chapter one
One morning rose was awoken as usual by Alexandra. That morning it was raining and by the time it was 7 a.m she had finally made a fire, "Feeble but it will have to do..." She thought she found the pot and rushed to town square. When she got there what she found was a huge crowd, "Why are these people here?" she whispered to herself. Then she saw a magnificent scarlet carriage, When she looked closer she saw two girls older than her dressed in beautiful dresses, a man in navy robes and a women dressed richly enough to maybe be the queen. But they were not the royals, they were her real family. Of course none of the five knew.The elder girl Isabelle, pointed to Rose and giggled to her younger younger sister Elizabeth. Then, came the family of royalty on a golden carriage rode the king the queen, and there 3 sons, " Of course! Its the speech today!" Rose thought. She pushed her way through the crowd and filled the pot with water, she listened carefully to what the king said. Then she rushed home and started the days sewing.
