A huge storm came through here the other day. I'm in the pep band and I just got back from a ball game at like 10:00pm. I didn't get to sleep or anything it was horrible. Tons of hail and high winds... a tornado was just on a few roads away from our house. It was like the apocalypse; there was a giant red glow over the horizon because something exploded in the county next to us. My dad saw some lightning hit the ground behind our house. It stayed there at least 4 seconds; fire was rising up all around it. Lots of homes detroyed here (got someone's roof in our yard) but I'm ok. The power and phone lines were out for a day and a half. I got ready for school by candle light just to find out it was cancelled for the rest of the week. :-P
