but ninjas would have the upper hand since they know how to move :D and they have great balance and they are stealthy

Lol yea, sorry about that, i knew a legendary question like this would be asked.
But i have no reason why someone would pick Pirates, it saddens me =(.

But if it were a straight fight, the pirate could shoot the crap out of a ninja... What about ninja-pirates? "stealth on peg-legs"

but the ninja could dodge the bullet. and a true ninja would never allow the pirate to get enough time to even get a good shot off at him.

What if the pirate was an ex-ninja? and the ninja was on it's ffirst mission and had a cold? The pirate would win in those circumstances

yes but most pirates are not ex-ninjas.
Obviously the ninja would win in a fight
but if you asked which one is cooler
I would say a pirate

Ninjas. Pirates sometimes have peg legs and wouldn't catch the ninja.
