i think it was two years ago here in NY where we had a full lunar eclipse, the moon disappeared, didn't just go red but slowly disappeared and then reappeared

it was awesome, it was during the spring time and we just sat there looking at it from time to time

its a few hours event so you can't really sit thru the whole thing unless ur retired lol
