GF vBulletin License Renewed

Today I renewed our vBulletin license to last us another year with the wonderful vBulletin updates. I had a few days left and it was $30, and i had $35 in my paypal :D after buying a few more domains.

I didn't have to renew since I have an owned license but I had to renew the "updates" part of the license otherwise we'd be stuck with vB 3.6.8 forever and never see the 3.7.0 one

Good thing I won't have to see that bill for another year now :D

which is that? they all forward to this main site so it is easy to find them lol, just try out all the common TLDs and see which work

but i'll post the official thread tomorrow - i actually bought two today cuz they were on sale lol

to lease is $85 i believe

owning for $160 means you don't have to pay the $85 every year to renew, just $30 for update renewals

but people who don't have the money usually leases or if they think they won't keep the forum for long, they lease it

but if you have an owned license, you can actually sell it to someone else if you don't want it any more, with leased, you can't anymore, they removed that right - thats a huge con for leased license

but it really depends on who has the money to get the licenses and it doesn't matter if its leased or owned, i bought my license from someone else in late june which saved me about $25 - it was a good deal because if i add another $5 to that i could just renew the updates for another year, exactly what i did

no, i have an owned license, i can run it forever without paying, i have to renew the update license which is kind of like a little branch that needs renewal if i want to be able to upgrade my forum later on, and i need it with the new vb 3.7 coming out
