Some people may be confused with the title thinking that someone else bought Gamers Forum but that's not what this is about :-)
TLD stands for Top Level Domain and usually refers to your domain extensions such as .com, .net, .org, etc...
Some of you may already know that I am trying to trademark gamers-forum's name with the hyphen in it. Without the hyphen will be a bit more difficult but I will try that as well :D I am trying to do that by getting some of the most common TLDs of Gamers-Forum. So far I own 4 of them. A few I wanted to get badly had slipped out of my hand by the time I got the money to get them.
First is of course: Gamers-Forum.COM (http://www.gamers-forum.com)
Second is: Gamer-Forum.ORG (http://www.gamers-forum.org)
Third is: Gamers-Forum.US (http://www.gamers-forum.us)
Fourth is: Gamers-Forum.BIZ (http://www.gamers-forum.biz)
The .org was bought last summer, around the time I had the idea of trademarking the forum. I wanted to get the .net but by the time I thought of doing anything, the .net was taking along with the .info. I will try to attain those but there is no guarantee since I have no legal document saying I own these domains. I contacted the owners of both extensions asking if they'd like to sell the extensions to me but I was given no response so I just gave up, I might as well wait until one of them expires and I can grab it.
The .US and .BIZ versions were bought just yesterday. I had just withdrew some money into my paypal because I had to pay my host bills, renew vbulletin license, and a few domains, so I withdrew more than I needed and thankfully I found these available and I saw the chance and I grabbed them.
You can try to visit all the domains - they are being forwarded to the .COM version.
Soon but not too soon, I'll be parking these domains to static pages so you may not always see them being forwarded here. I only forwarded them for now since some people can be a little messy when it comes to believing whether I own the domains or not :mask: The .org version has been forwarded to this site for months and I haven't thought of parking it elsewhere until now.
Any thoughts and comments go here!
