HELP for ps2

on tony hawks project 8 it says visit skate park in the manual by going to pause menua and skater options but its not ther. How can i get into the skate shop?

Ya gonna compleat alot of goals in that second place you go and then this dood with a beard will ask you to skate for him or somthing and then you can go to the shop and buy boards with stokens.....
