So, I finally finished the website I was working on for my dad's friend.
I think it turned out really well, and they love it.
I also got paid $260 so far, and then we're going weekly depending on what needs to be done for the site.

Anyways, he showed the website I made to one of his friends and he really liked it.
Turns out his sister is a graphic designer and is swamped with work.. and he said he'd love to meet me :]

How cool is that?
I might spend my summer designing websites and working in a bakery.

I was wondering.. is anyone seeing a blue bar across the webpage?
I just wanted to see if I fixed it, because apparently it happens to only some computers and not to others.

the one right after the header menu? if that, then i see it

others may not see this because of their browser cache - they have to clear cookies and temporary internet files for changes to take affect otherwise they have to wait longer for it

That sounds like a good theory.. but my two computers do different things.
The one I'm on right now is about a year old, has vista on it and loads the page right.
The other computer is about 5 years old, has XP and won't load the page properly.
The heading and foot will be in place and the middle sections will be shoved to the right.
And then on some computers this blue bar from the previous layout is showing up on the site.

Do you have any idea what's going on?
I haven't been able to fix it.

it could also be a host thing - the server could be sending different information to different people for no reason

run this on your PC and view it, if it's fine then upload it and it'll fix for everyone slowly

just some things i'd do in the situation
