Well, I recently got a copy of Guiness Book of World records, Gamers Edition 2008, and flipped through it trying to find any Smackdown! vs RAW records that I could break and then I saw it.. "fastest knock-out in Wii Sports boxing... a lightning fast 49 seconds."

I'm planning to practice and try and beat this record. I know I'm underestemating this record, because I think this will be like a walk in the park, but is it hard to break this? I assume it is, but everytime I think about it, there is no way. Also, this record applies only to round one. So, wish me luck, and you just might see me in the next book, 09.

lol that's cool - good luck with that - reminds me of the Chris Benoit vs Orlando Jordan Matches a few years back, benoit beat jordan 3 times in under 30 secs - i think one game lasted 16 secs if i remember correctly

and in boxing i remember that Muhammad Ali fight where he won in a minute or so, can't remember details - the guys that bought tickets were really mad cuz they paid so much to see a match last a few seconds lol

well anyway - good luck!

Nice. However I hope you know, I'm talking about gaming, but if you do, that is cool anyway and I think I saw that match with Chris.

And thanks!

Actually, I did this in 30 seconds just once. I had a watch on me and my dad was timing. Here is the whole article, because if I just did it in 30 seconds, I broke a record, here is the article, maybe I misread something and you can point it out...

-FROM GUINESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS, GAMERS EDITION 2008-

The fastest ever-recorded knockout in a single-player match of the boxing game of Wii Sports on the Wii is a lightning-fast 49 seconds (into round one), a record which was set on May, 25, 2007, by William Willemstyn III of the USA. According to records website Twin Galaxies, Willemstyn also holds the records for working the bag in training, with 18 points, and most punches thrown in training with 29.

Sorry, it's just to good to be true that I beat it in 30 seconds.

Good luck. BTW I don't think you'll be the only one trying to beat that.

Meh, I don't think I'll be breaking that. Not cause it's to hard, but I think my claim will be declined. Also, I need somebody that works in a game store to be a witness. I've got nobody that works in a game store.

IF ANYBODY HAS A SUGGESTION FOR A WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT FOR WII TENNIS TELL ME, BECAUSE I MIGHT SUBMIT A CLAIM LIKE THAT!

Try bookstores like Borders (they have borders in America right?). I am thinking about getting it, but I only read these things once then never see them again...
