60,000 Posts [Archive] - Gamers Forum

The forum made its 60,000th post earlier today. I wasn't on to catch the 60,000th post but I just woke up, and when I am fully awake I'll find the 60,000th post and post the link to it :)

It took us just over a month and a half to get from 50,000 to 60,000 posts which isn't slow but isn't quick either - But hopefully we'll be able to hit a 100,000 posts by the end of the year. Just 40,000 to go.

Congratulations to Gamers Forum, and thank you all for your help in our success! :yes:

Nice work everyone! If we got 10,000 in 1 and a half months, then it should only take around 6 months. We should have 100,000 posts before December. Keep up the posting :-)

Wow that's a lot of posts. I'm sure well reach 100000 by the end of the year. Since usually people are on more during the summer holidays.

i know i will be - but i plan to take a few tax courses this summer so i don't know

no thanks, 16 was bad for me lol but 10-13 were good :D i was the cool drummer at school

but back on topic - we have just over 8 months to make at least 40,000 posts :D

8 Months lol that should be easy. And my sister is coming up at the end of this month (apparently) to get me a new PC since my computer wasnt upgradeable or something like that :)

Ummm there was something up with the hard drive. I don't really care as long as I get a computer before june....

we just made the 61,000th post not too long ago - that's 1k in 4 days, avg of 250 a day, not bad but speeding things up will make it much easier :D probably be able to set a higher goal for the end of the year

What is the most posts ever made in a month?

nearly 10,000 back in october - then around 8.5k in february, just two months ago

i am not sure about february numbers, i have to check again, i could be confusing two months with each other

Yeah it would be October or November I must have made about 3,000 posts at least in those 2 months. And I'm guessing the least amount of posts was sometime before I joined?

not really, we had a lot of posts in january 07 and april 07 and that's before you joined - we had less members too but made thousands of posts there

quietest? mid may to mid june - we had a server crash and lost thousands of posts and it took some time to recover, lotta active members left and only about 5 or 6 came back

then in july i bought a vbulletin license :D

Oh right, that sucks. I'm sure that this year will be better than last year for posts.

definitely better - we have more momentum now and a lot more active users in april 08 than in april 07 so it shouldn't be much of a problem :)

Something tell me we will get our 100,000 post sooner then we all expect. When that happens man, we will have about 8,000 active users.

made the 62,000th post a little while ago lol

averaging 1000 posts every 4 days which is great :) since the first half of the month was extremely slow this second half is making up for it all

great job guys! we have just enough time to aim for 64,000 by the end of the month - 7 days

Hey Linux stop posting Announcements of only per 10000 increased we should go with 100.000 posts, then 250.000 posts and 500.000 posts. then 750.000 posts and 1 million posts that will be a great news for everyone ;)

i am not making a new thread for it :) just updating the old 60k thread since this seems to be active :radar:

a new thread is opened for "BIG" announcements

and that post was about setting a new goal for the end of the month
