Has a game ever scared you?

I mean a really big scare, the type that would make you get up and scream in sheer terror, waking your neighbours and summon all your childhood fears to haunt your thoughts and dreams throughout your sleep?

I yearn for that feeling, when that happens then I'll truely know of the potential for gaming if truely done well.

I get scared easily, lol.
While I can never play scary games, I do like to watch.
Doom scared me only because they liked to jump out of every corner you walked around :]

i'll sound liek a complete wuss but when i was in elementary the game turok seeds of evil scared the (blank) out of me. huge dinosaurs trying to kill me! haha it was sweet. think it came in a black case instead of the standard grey case. oh and it was for the 64 haha

A game has never really scared me before... Geist was a little creepy but not in a scary way just in a weird way. The storyline in that game was pretty intresting. But it didn't scare me the least bit and neither have any other games. Maybe that's just because I mainly play games like Mario and Zelda though.

Idk man but anybody who can be scared by FEAR or RE4 is pretty lame indeed.

Silent Hill 2, the first time through. It was my first true horror game that i played, and i was scared shizless through 3/4 of the game. Towards the end i was like yknow what eff it. And i just ran.

Also, Haunting Ground. It's a very jumpy game. It's like clock tower 3 without any of the cheesiness, much better stealth mechanics, much deadlier foes, and just a better game in general. Plus, you get an extremely life-like dog as your only means of defense. I still can't play that game.

Yeah the Condemned series is supposed to be scary. That's why I want to play it.
