If you caught your spouse cheating?

I was reading this article about this dude he shot his wife twice. She was having an affair and he caught them at it. Later that night he went on a rampage and shot her but he did nothing to his friend.

So, would you go after the person or the spouse or both?

I dont know what I would do but I wouldn't resort to violence but all I would be thinking in my head was how could I trust them.
