Did anyone one else here this story, I might edit my post and post it later, but the basics:
Peta claims the horse was clearly injured before the race
Peta wishes for the $400,000 prize for 2nd revoked.
And lots more other stupid stuff.

I totally hate PETA, lol.
They're a bunch of psychos IMO.

The horse probably had naturally weak ankles
It's just a shame.

why suspend? why stop there? just put him to sleep too....forever!!

tell them to put that on their list of stupid things to do as well

That's stupid. It doesn't matter if the horse had broken akles before hand, he still lost. I think everyone knows that they broke during the race, but whatever.

personally, I mean I like PETA the organization. Because I am a complete animal lover and some of the things that they care about or want to change it totally reasonable. In fact I sign all the online petitions they send me. But I dont think they should suspend the Jockey but I do think Horse Racing is in-humane.

The horse was just fine until AFTER the finish line. If the horse broke BOTH of it's front ankles during the race, it is impossible to come in 2nd! A horse needs at least 3 legs to stand on, at the end, that horse had 2.

I highly doubt the jockey or anyone involved would have purposly injured the horse. You dont injure your own horse before the Kentuckey Derby. Accidents happen. Even freak accidents. Look at George Bush for instance. No body thought he would have won... twice!!?

PETA are dumb, they should go after stories that mean good. Like in Seattle where someone is blowdarting metal spike behind pigeons eyes and causing them a slow death.

animal rights activists that should be out doing good protest that are logical but end doing things like this and end up coming off as bat**** insane liberals...no one takes them seriously anymore.
