Gamers Forum April Stats

Well I gathered up all the information necessary to post here regarding all the stats for April including Posts, Threads, and traffic.

And please note, these numbers may be off by 100s, especially the post counts and traffic because these are unstable. And the numbers have been rounded up or rounded down.

GF Board Stats:

Posts: 4,900

Threads: 400

Registrations: 113 (not estimated)

Top Poster: Scott

GF Traffic Stats:

Unique Visitors: 11,800 (these visitors are counted ONCE per month no matter how many visits)

Visits: 17,800 (visits are counted more than once per month)

Pageviews: 295,000 Pageviews - every page viewed on the forum.

Hits: 1,312,000 (every hit on the forum from humans)

Traffic was great for the forum last month but I believe March had better traffic and post counts - But since there was a datacenter move, we are missing more than a week of data so I never posted March Stats.

May is doing MUCH better in traffic stats Getting nearly 2,000 unique visitors in less than 4 days (has not updated for May 5th yet) along with 23k Pageviews.

Forum did much better in April 2008 than April 2007. Also doing far better in May '08 than May '07. I will find time to post May stats in a month or so as well.

Thanks for making the stats of the forum high - let's keep the numbers up!

we have like 3,400 less posts than february which had less days lol - so we kinda slowed down last month for some reason - slower this month in post even though we are faster at everything else

february was better in every way but traffic - didn't even reach 5 digits in terms of unique visitors but got 7,000+ posts lol

yeah - traffic does - a domain that gets 5 figure unique visitors a month would sell for a $1000 easy but i have a whole forum with bigger numbers :D

but im not selling the forum any time soon, not since summer is coming up and i have a hell of a lot of time to do stuff :D

this is the only forum i have lol - its not easy managing a forum and thats why i tell people to start out with something simple - this wasn't my first site either, thats why i knew where to advertise and how to actually grow it - many people just start off with a forum and fail miserably in a few months

i used to have a forum for my high school - but those guys would rather talk at school so i just sold the domain - don't see a point of holding an inactive forum

also tried to make a marketing forum, never got around to it - not easy managing a forum
