Failed 3.7.0 Upgrade

I just tried an upgrade and failed miserably. I have an idea why but more than one thing went wrong. First, we are missing tens of thousands of posts even though the database said it was there. The upgrade didn't work fully. Second, the template was just way messed up and trying to recustomize would take me about 6 hours (rough estimation).

I did not touch this forum so it should be fine. It was shut off for nearly 3 hours because I didn't want the database Disturbed. You will not see any changes on this forum yet.

I will try more test upgrades on the server itself and see what works. I will attempt another upgrade tomorrow OR Monday.

Sorry for disappointing you guys but if I kept on upgrading and kept on going with this, it would have taken me another half a day and I don't want to shut down the forum for that long. That's why I decided to test it out a few more times before attempting.

Again sorry for disappointing, I will keep on working on this and hopefully have it figured out soon.

the upgrade is on this server already but its sooooo ugly

i had to delete all the other templates except default and red & silver cuz i wanted to upgrade those manually (BAD IDEA)

so i reverted them all thinking of installing all mods all over again - ALSO Bad Idea because reverting = make custom theme look ugly

i shut off the upgrade though, need some time for my brain to process what just happened so i can think of a solution

lol its just confusing - i have to have like 6 windows open for the upgrade because i have to do so many things at the same time otherwise it won't work - and the template modifications is what makes me mad - wish they didn't change the coding so much

yeah i bet. that's why i don't want to become a programmer. i thought about it and i'd rather be a mechanic or, sadly, and accountant. i'll first probably be a mechanic or somethnig and work on tanks and then hopefully stop that and be an accountant go me!!
