Search Engine's don't work =/

On my laptop (got it fixed :-P) I go on Google, Ask, Yahoo, Dog Pile, any of them, non work not one single search engine works, any idea's? everything eles works :yes: just search engines...

what do you mean "They don't work"

be more specific - like they don't load for you, or the search results never show, or etc...

Okay erm... When I search something, it just loads... and lasts about half an hour then I get annoyed and close it :-P more specific? =]

try another computer in your house, or at least another browser

it could be a problem only you are dealing with at home, may be a computer thing or a network thing but you'll have to experiment with other browsers and computers from the same network

Nope it doesn't work with either IE7 or FireFox, and they work fine on my computer and its the same modem =/

if it works in another computer in the same network then you have problems with your laptop

probably spyware or even a virus - scan your computer

if it doesn't work, do a system restore back to when it did work, usually helps - i had that with a few sites on my old pc last year, a Restore of 2 months fixed it :)
