Well the other day Jak suggested I add a sort of Spoilers tag to the forum. It took me a few days to find the good bb code modification but I didn't use that. A few days earlier a whole modification was written that works with 3.7 version of vBulletin, lucky huh.

Well it has been implemented, you can now added the spoilers tag to anything you think is a spoiler. Please write something outside of the spoiler as well to explain why it's a spoiler or any other useful information.

You can use the following tags:

Or you can select it from the top bar right above your posts that indicates a Spoiler, the image looks like this:

http://www.gamers-forum.com/images/dark_vb/editor/spoiler.gif

If you cannot see it you can always do it manually above.

Now for the thread prefixes - the prefix for this thread is "General Info" because I am providing general information to you guys about the new spoiler tags and the thread prefixes.

It is OPTIONAL. You don't need to have a thread prefix but it tells the other members about what you need. The prefixes entered right now are:

Help Me (If you need help with the subject and if it is urgent, use this)
Tutorial (If you have a tutorial on hand made for such things as Sigs, or working your way around a game, use this)
General Info (If you are providing just general info and would like to have a thread prefix, use this)
Rate Me (If you want your work to get rated such as your uploaded video or sigs or anything else, use this)

If any one else has any thread prefix Ideas just lay it on me in this thread and I'll see if it's worth putting it up.

If you have any questions about the spoiler tags or Thread Prefixes please ask here. And below is a test of the spoiler, it should work in every theme fully except the vb default theme because it wasn't upgraded properly to 3.7 version. Test the Spoiler Below:

DO NOT PM ME, Why can't people read my sigs sometimes?

Does that mean you want to scratch me behind my ears and roll me on my back and rub my tummy?!?!!?

Because I would totally be down for that!!! :O

lol, anyone else find the thread prefixes annoying?

lol, anyone else find the thread prefixes annoying?

They're kind of weird and only apply to like 50% of the types of threads there are.
I guess it would be cooler if we could type our own prefixes.

the thread prefixes are optional and i assume some people think they HAVE to put it cool

and vb cant let people write their own thread prefix, could be more problems making the whole title super long lol

Actually, I don't think it would be too bad if there was a character limit on the prefix part.
I would like it if I was writing movie reviews or something.

I dunno. I guess I am only gonna use the Rate Me one when I make a signature or wallpaper.

Just testing. I typed the code rather then the button. I heard that 4/3 people can't do fractions

Gosh I suck at reading today.
Can you make an option for 'Movie Review'?
'Game Review' would be good for the game reviewers.

Yeah, lol.
But I'm talking about if people click the 'unread posts' button they would know that that thread is a game review.
Just something that would help a little.

i'll add the movie review one later - but instead i'll put just "Review" so its broader and can be used any where

what do you think of that? or do you still want me to keep it just movie review?

Thanks LiNuX :]

thread prefixes and spoilers are well known now - if you have any questions about them, ask here or make your own thread - this thread is being unstickied but will remain open for conversation
