Maybe blend the render a bit, and it would look a little better. And putting the border over the render also might make a good little change.

Overall, good job :)

I was thinking about putting the border over the render because it didn't look right near Zelda's head. :-P

The BG is nice. ^^
Though I'd maybe change the font color, it's a big hard to see. And maybe add an effect or two to it.
But other then that, wonderful job. : )

Addd a little more effects happening after you put in the render,

also try some more tuts.

I started to use a tutorial for this one but it was for a different version of GIMP than what I have so I had to figure it out on my own.

The colors match really well with the render.
It'd be nice with something else in there, it seems a little empty.

Good sig, defiantly your best. I give it a 8/10, cause like Rose said, needs a different font color and font. Maybe add some abstract lines or specks or maybe just some faint abstract brushes to make the background a little more...happening?

True. Some absract lines would look nice since Zelda is so, hmn..I don't know the word I am looking for. xD Lol

I like this one actually. One of your best if you ask me. I would however, maybe blend the background just a bit.
