Rate GF's Performance

From November 2007 to about March 2008 we have had a bad string of web hosts and servers and our performance level was very low. Out of a 10 it probably was a 4 with a lot of downtime and bad responsive server hosts. Also the forum lagged big time out of no where when too many people got on and sometimes it was just plain old random.

But since switching over we have had nearly a 100% uptime with about a total of 30 minutes downtime for upgrades (scheduled downtime) and a few hours for the upgrade of the forum to 3.7.0.

So how well do you think gamers forum is doing now performance wise? By this I mean the speed, the uptime, usability, and anything doing with the physical performance. Not how many features we have or how many game reviews we have and etc.

Responses on how we are doing performance wise will help us get better - If you believe we need to improve in any way, please post what we need to improve on.

Performance-wise, we've been doing well since the switch.
I can't really point out any negatives because I haven't experienced any.
I haven't even experienced the scheduled downtime, lol.

lol thats why we picked out the 10 AM time, it seems to be the best time to do anything for any website and the host has been great - the scheduled downtime lasts less than they estimate lol, the last one lasted 300% longer than their estimation which always got annoying

It seems pretty good to me. Everyone once in awhile it will take extra time to open a page. That may be just my internet, but everything in my computer is up to date along with my internet. You never know though.

This place has achieved so much in so little time; of course growth is an ongoing process, but so far, it hasn't slowed us down.

i'd give it a 10 because the performance has been just great for me, i mean right now its taking less than a second to load up

i say its a 10 too, havent been slow for me at all and i havent come on while its down in, ever :-p

I'd say it's doing between and 8.5 and 9. This is the best forum I've ever been on when it comes to that but I'm sure there's always room for improvement somehow.
