Hi all, I am thinking about opening up a LAN Center in my city and was looking for ideas on some things to put in it. I am obviously going to need PCs, 360s, PS3s, Wiis, TVs, and seating. But I come to you, fellow gamers to see what else you think would be cool at a LAN center. Thanks.

good routers lol, well if you are going to make it so they can't connect to the internet to play with others other than the lan center then you won't need internet but if you are going to allow that, then you some pretty fast upload speed internet to allow a lot of connections

uh...can't think of much more, the only lan centers i've been to were all computers and they were very basic - played CS with friends back in the day.

uh...beverages - soda and sports drinks sells a lot, the one i used to go to had a fridge full of them and they sold each bottle of soda or drink for $1 each to $2 each depending on what the size was

and as for payment, i was charged for every house used - $3 an hour lol, and members get a 50% discount cuz they pay like $10 a month for the membership

outside of that i can't tell you much - you can only profit a lot if you have a lot of dedicated customers, if u were in NYC there wouldn't be a problem lol, cuz a friend of mine doesn't have broadband internet at home so he goes to lan centers all the time and spends like $500 a month on them lol - he's not very smart and i haven't spoken to him since high school but he could have used the money to get internet and a brand new computer lol

good luck with the lan center, i am only assuming you are in indiana and i dont know what the market is like there
