Terminator 2 vs Aliens

2 of the greatest Sci-Fi sequels of all time. But which do you think is bettet?

Honestly, I really enjoyed the first Alien. It's my favorite movie. I like the mystery surrounding the alien, and the feeling of discovery as the plot unfolds. And the sequels made the Alien creature well-known, which ruined the suspense and mystery from the first film. I want to meet somebody with no prior knowledge of the movie and make them watch it. See their reaction.

Aliens is good, but the creatures turned from a mysterious otherworldly being into just a monster in an action flick. A very cool monster in an amazing action flick, but there's still no mystery surrounding it. You know how it breeds now, you've gotten used to seeing it, and the sheer numbers of them getting blasted makes them seem weaker.

Alien 10/10 Aliens 8.5/10

It's the other way around for Terminator for me. I loved the first Terminator, but it seemed too low-key for my tastes. Terminator 2 Special Edition seems much more epic, and it spans many more locations than the first terminator. Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger's terminator fighting another terminator is a bit more cool than a regular guy fighting arnold's terminator.

The Terminator 8/10 Terminator 2 9/10

I prefer Aliens. It's one of my all time favourite movies. It's a pity that the 3rd movie in each series sucked.

Guys the aliens didn't spit acid until 1997's Alien Resurrection.

And Scott...Alien 3 may not have been great, but it was certainly a lot better than Terminator 3.

Their tongues have always had the jaw-like part on the end of them, but they didn't spit acid in Aliens...so you can't use that. lol
