Over the years the Batman has gone through many changes of course. But many are discarded after a time and writers return to the original idea.
Didnt he have a badge in the 50s?

So my question is why did the no killing rule stick? In the 1930s the Batman had no problem hurling criminals from rooftops, breaking necks and punching people into vats of acid.

So will he ever kill again?

Probably not. Batman is a role model for little kids. Teaching kids to go around snapping peoples necks is not a good idea.

lol they try to keep these superhero movies to non-rated R so they all go to prison or something instead, so you dont see a lot of gore and blood

superman could kill lex luthor but he never does

spiderman killed the original green goblin - well not killed him directly but green goblin committed accidental suicide lol

Teaching kids to go around snapping peoples necks is not a good idea.

Try telling that to Steven Segal. Might I suggest yelling it to him from some rooftop from a bull horn less you run the risk of your own neck becoming snapped like babies thigh.
