Do I have to advance to be able to edit my signature or am I just not looking hard enough? Where on earth is my signature edit?

you have to have at least 10 posts and be a member for a minimum of 24 hours

thats why when people welcomed you, they said read rules and FAQs :) its all stated there.

i still cant figure out how to edit my signature and i have been a member for a week

yeah but did you have 10 posts by the time you were trying to edit your signature?

you have negative rep, you need to get it up to 10 points so you can edit your sigs again - i checked your rep points, you have -25 which isn't the best thing in the world
