yeah EpsilonX is right usually people dont come back because they dont like the site. there is nothing we can really do if they want to come back then let them come back. But if they dont then they dont.

happens with all the sites in fact if you the amount that do it now wait till it gets bigger and see how many do it, it's insane on big forums how many member names are taken up by people with less than 10 post.

it happens with more forums than you can imagine - it's like for every 50 or so users, we get one active one and a few that posts like 10-30 posts and leaves. we can't do anything to prevent that

and if you compare us to other forums in terms of posts - our post/user is far better than many forums thanks to the legal spammers lol

and if you are planning to put a stop to that lol, i wish you all the luck and support :D

Were you gonna make a big sign that says "do not join if you do not plan on posting" ? I don't think that would work too well.

I joined an xbox 360 forum to spam it up, but I decided the members were all really nice and there was a large number of fans of all consoles there, so I decided I wanted to stay.

I've only posted like 4 times there though.

But my story is just an example of what happens. It's impossible to stop it completely.

I really wish there was a way where we could just make the members post but there is not. Till then we should just keep posting. telling our friends/online friends. and as LiNuX is doing getting ads.

Well some people might be chased away from foruns by the lack of big posters. Like if a forum only has 20 posts a day then I would just leave.

we have like 20-30 regular posters so we are doing better than most other forums - and a little spike in activity will definitely help - not from just new members but from old members as well
