Games you hate that are generally praised or vice versa?

Ok, so Im hanging out with one of my friends last night, were playing some gears of war. We then get on to the subject of Assasins Creed after talking about the games for a while I bring up how much I hated the repetitiveness of it and how it ruined the game for me.

So I was wondering what games do you hate that most other people like? and what games do you like that most other people hate?

Gears of War
Halo 3
Guitar Hero (yet i still play it but very rarely)

Games I like that everyone else hates?

Legend of Dragoon. That game is way underrated.

Far Cry and Forza 2 are the only ones I can think of right now.

Really didn't like GTA4 at alll so my hype and no delivery.

Vice City got praised by the media and I didn't like that at all, GTA4 also got too much praise top 10 game of all time my a##....even though it's my 2nd favorite GTA ever it still only deserves like a 88 overall rating

Yeah I'd agree, GTA4 is overrated. It was the first game since GTA3 that gamespot gave a 10 and I'd say it probably deserves an 9.

shadow of the colossus, the game was so repetetive.

SSBB, Guitar Hero, Halo, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games are way over rated.


Most NHL games are underrated.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about super smash brothers. Those games are way overrated too
