Jack Bauer is a lost soul trying to find his place in the world and regain a sense of equilibrium while building houses for the poor in Africa. Jack's peaceful existence is threatened when he and his friend Benton get caught up in a coup de-tat against a powerful African warlord that spirals out of control. Back in the United States the country prepares to swear in President Allison Taylor during her Inauguration Day. Also, the gov't moves to subpoena Jack to appear in an upcoming trial for his past actions.
