I know there is a Civ Rev thread so before someone jumps on my back...this is a test informative thread.

Above is the latest trailer for the game launched about a month ago. This is a Strategy game for the PS3. Previously for the PC only.

yeah it does...when i first saw the trailer i was excited about a new Civilization game for the PC then it said PS3 and my smile turned upside down :-(

and i haven't played the game to judge the game play - i got bored with Civ IV after about 5 hours of total play last month lol...maybe cuz i kept tabbing out every minute

Civilization Revolution is also on DS and 360. It's a pretty good game but has to many flaws to be great. Civ 2 totally kicks the this game off the cliff, Civ Rev feels dumbed down in so many ways. Civ Rev was also designed to have a winner in quick amount of time(aka less than 10 hours) as Civ 2 many hours of gameplay would be done before you even got into real combat with the enemy, in Civ Rev they're basically a money shot away.

oh yeah...civ 2 and civ 3 were my two favorite versions...i still have my civ 3,will have to look for my civ 2 cd if i ever want to play - they didnt have the "great" graphics but the game play and strategies keep you into the game - civ IV kinda repelled me with the slowness of the game. Didn't get Musketmen until like the 1700s....
