The Hole in the Wall Gang lives.
A Georgia burglar has been breaking into homes by burrowing through walls to avoid setting off alarms that are usually attached to windows and doors.
The creative thief has robbed some dozen homes around Atlanta by tearing off the siding and then chipping a hole into the drywall with a screwdriver.

A Wyoming man is thanking his lucky stars after being shot in the chest while in his bathroom and suffering only a bruise.
His neighbor, unfamiliar with a brand-new pistol, had accidentally fired a shot that went through a wall, across the street and through the wall of the victim's bathroom, where it ricocheted off a shower wall and into the man's chest.
"It's one of those freak happenings," said Casper police Sgt. Mark Trimble.

About 10,000 Juneau residents lost power when an eagle, weighted down by hauling a deer's head, crashed into power lines.
"You have to live in Alaska to have this kind of outage scenario," said Gayle Wood of Alaska Electric Light & Power.
The eagle did not survive.

Lunch at one Ohio high school wasn't the only thing that was greasy.
A naked student, covered head-to-toe in grapeseed oil, barged into a Westerville school's lunchroom as a prank and began running around, screaming and flailing his arms.
But a police officer assigned to the school didn't find it funny and zapped the student, Taylor Killian, twice with a stun gun.
"The prank went a little further than he intended, I guess," said police Lt. Jeff Gaylor.
