The renders are a little choppy, nothing you can really do to fix that but fix it yourself or find a new render.
The Mario one, there isn't much going on. It also didn't have a background.
The Iron Man one is pretty good, I would have blended the render a little more into the background.

Oh, and text. You need text because it makes it feel so much more finished.

yeah i knew i should have blended more im gettin photoshop within a half hour so maybe a better program will make better sigs

You can have a great program and still make bad graphics, lol.
A program doesn't decipher your skills as an artist.
Not to say you don't have any.

The first one is ok, but there's not really that much going on.
Especially with the Mario one.
They're both pretty bland.
More effects and filters would do the trick.

4/10 for both.

mario render shouldn't have had a black bg - the choppy white sides are shown

also do you mind sizing down your GTA Sig - its almost 400 pixels in height, we only allow 300 pixels max

i give 1/10 dont see a lot of work put into it. If you want to improve alot, go to pixel2life.com or other tutorial PS websites, and practice different styles and effects. Also look at other people's sigs and attempt to mimic it for practice.

I disagree with this, imo text is not a mandatory thing and in the opinion of this a-hole a lot of the times it's just a distraction. Now back on topic I like the mario one the best.

its much better and by that i mean the background - the black doesn't really go with it - well not that gradient - you could have used a thinner white border with the text rather than that black and i think red text would have gone much better

and also the yellow glow on darth really doesn't go lol - but keep practicing, you'll get there :)

On the Vader one, I would change the glow on Vader, like LiNuX said.
I would also add a gradient Map, because those make everything go together just a little bit more.
But that is a huge improvement. I would maybe downsize the text and maybe change the font, but other then that, it looks good.

... they're not that great.. but you haven't done sigs in a while so you might have lost your touch. :P The Mario one needs a background... would have made it better.

the first one the left render doesn't go and the text shouldn't have that stroke, white would have looked better also a smaller font

second one with the raichu, text is good but background colors aren't, i think it would have looked better if you went with black & white imo

you can try a grayscale overlap of those and see what it looks like, the second one i mean

i knew i should have used white with the Transformers one and thats not a stroke its just a normal glow i just learned how to mess with the glows color thats why its red like that the glow i was just messing with I tried blending the left render in the transformers one the best i could with out making it too dark and i told you the pokemon one was f'd up lol i'll make a new one later with that Raichu using that same text color
