I hope Sega themselves aren't developing this, because they pretty much suck at making console games now.

HAAAAAAAA!

I loved Golden Axe on Sega. Is the new one gonna be a hack 'n' slash like the original or are they gonna make it into a turn based game?

It's on the PS3 and should be released next month.

PS3 exclusive or multi-platform?
(Not including PC)

I must have been half asleep at the time because I forgot to say it's also going to be on the Xbox 360.

I dont think Sega has any inhouse developers anymore. They are only a publisher now. I like the art direction, but this game will bomb. Golden Axe + no Co-op = fail. Id love to know what idiot at Sega gave the go ahead for a single player Golden Axe game.

No kidding.
It's like they had this design document lying around and someone decided it'd be perfect to slap the Golden Axe name on it to get it greenlit.

What's worse is that we'll probably never get a REAL Golden Axe game now, since this game is sure to flop. If it plays well enough, I might buy it when it's cheap though.

The original trilogy of Golden Axe will have to be the REAL games then :P. They are still fun to play at least.
