Have you learned anything new today?
It can be from school, a random fact, a mistake. Anything like that!

I have learned that I really suck at math... -.-;

something new? it's easy to fall asleep when talking about theology or philosophy...i cannot stay awake! and those are the two classes where i dont use my laptop, because if i do, i can't focus lol - and i need to focus in those two classes! philosophy was my worst class last term so i have to get an A this time.

other than that, i learned:

McCain is catching up to Obama, according to some polls, they are either tied, OR McCain leads - all very inaccurate lol...its from my Political Science class - we always discuss presidential election the first 30 mins of class

I learned that getting a honor's diploma sucks.

why? lol..

i got an advanced regents diploma - i took all the regents exams NYC has to offer and haven't failed any lol...thats not my style - and its great! get scholarships and grants for college with a better looking diploma

i think mine is an honors too, i have to check the diploma to be sure but no guarantee i'll do that any time soon, but why does it suck?

Well I just have to do a lot of work to catch up. Because, I took a lot of study halls so I could get use to highschool. Then next year, I'm going to double up on my math, have to take a language class, which I hate. Then I have to take either Biology and Chemistry, which both sound hard to me. I made a thread about it. I also have to get a 3.5 average and a composite score of 27 on the ACT tests or an equivalent score on the SAT.

It just sounds undo able to me.

ah..good luck with that - yeah the work is immense but it pays off

i think i got a 32 on my ACT if im not mistaken but 30 something...max is 36

SAT i did fairly well, dont remember my highest score lol...took it twice

had a 4.0 GPA until the end but it didn't count! hehe - dropped to a 3.2 i think

and yeah..it ALL pays off when it comes to getting scholarships and grants - just put down all your hard work and you shall be rewarded. So keep working hard, its all for a brighter future

I never learned anything today or yesterday since I'm not at college at the beginning of the week. But last week I learned that I should go to bed earlier because after only 2 hours sleep I can't concentrate.

Oh wow.. This thread caught on fast. XD

I learned that carrying around my 15-20 sucks more than I thought it did, and not bringing it home makes life much easier. x.x

And good luck, Trunks-kun! >.<
