EGM Gaming Magazine

Just ordered a Two-Year Subscription for $24 at 1up.com...

Any heads-up or something to say about EGM? Was it worth it?:eek1:

the only gaming magazine i've ever subscribed to was the Playstation one, free demos every month lol, When i used to work at the library - they had EGM in the employee lounge and i used to read it all the time (i think it was EGM and the other was Game Informer mag)

EGM used to be the best. They used to have incredible discs that had video reviews and trailers and first looks at games that were months away, this was awesome like 5 years ago when the industry wasnt that big.

Nowadays they're ok, some reviews are really questionable and they tend to have bias opinions towards EA games. I think it was Assasins Creed they hated and i disagreed with their review. They are the best multiplatform magazine though. So if you own a couple consoles they're definately the best magazine for you.

They are a pretty good magazine, currently running on a 1 year free subscription thanks to joystic. It's overall a pretty good mag, I enjoyed Game Informer more though do to more breaking stories on new games.

I started to hate gameinformer just a few issues ago. They had this section where they talked about how overrated some of the most popular games of all time are.. and this list included incredible games that set the bar for their genre like Goldeneye, Super Smash Brothers, Half Life etc.

I remember they said how aweful the character line up was in Brawl and after i read that i set that magazine down and let out a sigh.
