Since people discussed about an election for the President on here a few months ago, i thought I'd go ahead and set up a Poll a week before the real election.
You can vote in this election if you are a member of Gamers Forum. We do not check age, residency, or citizenship status!
Here are the Nominees:
John S. McCain, III - Republican
Running Mate: Sarah H. Palin
Barack H. Obama, Jr. - Democrat
Running Mate: Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
Ralph Nader - Independent
Running Mate: Matt Gonzalez
There are otherse but they aren't worth mentioning and I highly doubt they will make a huge difference in the election. Ralph Nader has run a few other times and he has fans, he has the chance of stealing a few small states.
Vote away, all votes are anonymous - you do not have to explain who you voted for or why.
Please do not flame any of the candidates or each other, feel free to say positive things about them. We have enough negative ads on all sides, don't need more here. Anyone not following this rule will receive a 3 point infraction.
Good luck To All three (mentioned) candidates.
Poll ends Wednesday November 5th.

If I could vote, I would be voting for Barack Obama. I think that he is the one most likely to get us out of this economical depression. He pledged to not raise taxes for anyone under 250,000 thousand a year.. I'm going to assume everyone on this forum makes less that that = ). He also said that he would give tax breaks to anyone who made less that 75,000 thousand a year.
Go Ombama !! = )

I've got McCain, we were laughing at the 2 candidates on another forum, one guy brought up an excellent point.
Cuba got change
Italy got change
China got change
Russia got change
We saw how that ended up.
Plus, Obama's plans have a lot to do with socialism.
OT: Where do you get your ads from LiNuX, I'm being harrased from Elain Marshall running for NC Secertary of state. Had no clue who she was until now.
Edit: Wathcing McCain's youtube videos, great points here:
YouTube - Preconditions (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1azQcs-8iI)

Lol It's odd to see McCain winning for me too... XD
All I see around here is " Obama Obama Obama Obama ". X_X;
Across the street from us, our neighbor has an Obama sign, along with that whole side of the street. On our side of the street, to the left our neighbors have an Obama sign, to the right, Obama sign. A few people on our side have McCain signs. Only a few.
My dad got an McCain sign, we're completely surrounded. xD Just watch our house get egged! xD
Lol. It be cool if some of our over-age members voted for this winner.

McCain was winning, at one point.
The second the polls close, I'm going to grab a cell phone and take a picture the number, McCain was winning! And then he lost.

some people are expecting a landslide by Obama - his grandmother passed away today sadly :( but I'm going to compare our poll results to the real percentages of the electoral college and see if we got something similar.

Man tomorrow is going to be so slow waiting for the results, it'll be ultra depressing if McCain wins

He better not pull a bush... I've also seen everywhere on the news that Obama is way ahead. Obama is said to win Ohio and in the past 100 and some years, whoever had Ohio wins. Except for like 2 different elections or something like that.

I think there is like 6 states and no one has missed more than 2 of them and won. Ohio is one of the 6 states, I think I forget.

If the election was next week, I say McCain would win, every race shifted in McCain's favor(All the leads got smaller, and his leads got bigger) in the past 3 days. But since it is today, it'll be closer than everyone thinks.
