So far Final Fantasy 7 has been my favorite, graphic wise it looks nice considering time it was made, great cinimatics, as well as story. Graphics should not be the main thing people look at when playing games, it sickens me to see that. Great old games being shunned due to graphics.

Storyline wise, ff7 is the best, as far as gameplay, id say FFX. And Yes, FFXI does cost money to play monthly(computer version does anyways).

I love Final Fantasy. It is my number one alltime favourite game, lol. I have played 8 thru to 12 except for 11. I haven't played Final Fantasy XI because i'm on a slow connecton and my computer doesn't support the minimum system requirements, which sucks, and the PS2 version of it, I dont think has been released in Australia and dont think it ever will.

But anyway my favourite has to be a draw between Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy X, they are both equally as good, even though people say Final Fantasy IX sucked, I really liked it, it was awesome.

FF7 is when Final Fantasy reached a wider audience and also when they went from 2d to 3d. it was a great game... My brother just bought a mint condition copy off a friend for $20.. they sell on ebay for $36 lol I'm looking at buy them all again in mint, I know someone who still has them SEALED! he bought 2 of each :P except for IX but not many people care for IX anyway. Though it was pretty cool... a bit weird... but cool..

i used to obsessed with final fantasy games i have like final fantasy 4-12 as of now.. and id have to say seven still has a place in my heart
but 12 and 10 are up there as well

since FF II (Final Fantasy in US) they've all been in English aswell as Japanese lol, just 1-6 were on Nintendo's Entertainment system and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System rather than playstation :)
A remake of all playstation 1 Final Fantasies has been rumoured since the early days of the Playstation 2, Infact I have an article in French talking about it with screens shots from "Avril 2004" and with Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis and After Crisis all out I expect they will release Final Fantasy VII remake eventually! *keeps on wishing*

Most of us agree wth you there, I love Final Fantasy VII, I'm going to buy a mint condition and also make a box specifically for storing Final Fantasy games.. I love Final Fantasy :D

Im a strong fan of ff8, number 7 is fantastic though, I must admit plus Iv enjoyed playing others such as 4,5,6 and 9.

One thing I liked about number 4 was the final boss good challenge!

Final Fantasy 8 is still my favorite. I'm have the game at the computer too. Well, don't have finish Final fantasy 12 yet on PS2

I did have 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 then my ps2 died and now I just bought 10-2 and 12 and my brother sold 1,2,4,5,7,8,9,10 of mine. but then again 7 and 8 were his.. So I basically have to buy them all again.

Final Fantasy VII for me. I think the story line and gameplay was amazing and it was the best game of its time too. final fantasy VIII is my second favorite though
