Xbox 360 Elite

Anyone planning on getting this as a new console or upgrading your premium to Elite , I believe it will be out like April 29th , when the price eventually comes down Im going to pick it up .

To me the Elite system seems like an excuse for Microsoft to not lower the price of the current systems. Anyone buying the premium system can tell themselves that for only $79 they'll get HDMI and a 120GB HD. Microsoft is going to sell the 120GB HD for $179 so skipping the premium and going for the elite will definitely save you money. If Microsoft lowers the price of the current models then the price savings wouldnt matter much and there would probably be no good reason to get an elite model (unless you really want HDMI).

Got to say that i think they look much better too, the ones I've seen are shiney black and look alot more classy than even the new PS3 think I will be getting one in the near future.

i agree with peon about its their way of not lowering the price, and magnetism that it looks good, better than old one, well good luck to microsoft and their crap

I wonder in a 1-2 years they'll another version of 360 for even higher price with maybe a installed HD format to play movies and bigger harddrive, then again that would piss the customers so I guess they wouldnt do that . But if they did it make it feal like a computer and not a console thats great thing about consoles your suppose to pay for 1 whenever and never have to worry about it again.

I might just get an Upgrade on my Xbox 360 {Cheaper} ;D
