that was like "What are you thinking yo"
and that was sort of like one.
Idk we've had discussions on this sort of thing before and I think everytime before we all came to the agreement that no was the answer.

I had a idea like that and if I recall linux didn't want one but we could also set up some kind of a IRC chat off the forum

Yeah we talked about this before. We decided not to do it, because it takes away from people posting on the boards. Were not a SUPER active forum, so adding a shout box would only lower the activity for posting. Shout boxes are normally only good for big forums that have 100+ on all the time.
Plus using Shout boxes makes it easier for hackers to get passwords and what not. It's not that big of a deal, because it's preventable but just makes it easier for them.
