MGS Movie?

:eek1:Is there really going to be a movie?Would Hideo Kojima allow someone make it and most likely F it up?Is this really going to happen, or is it a giant middle finger to MGS fans to get us excited?Who knows...why not PM him on PSN?

There will be a MGS movie and hell no its not gonna suck at all. Because the whole Metal Gear Solid series is just a buch of rip-offs of big-time movies like the old 077 goldeneye movies and the movie "escape from NYC" is where they got the name snake from and also the name "plisken". So the movie should be like a bunch of badass old movies put into one.

As long as Psycho Mantis and GrayFox are somewhere in the movie then I'm happy

It'd be pretty sweet if they did make one.

But a lot of video game movies are just awful, so I wouldn't get excited.

it's probably gonna be disappointing if you're expecting the game.

I don't really care MGS is awesome as hell, but I think its gonna start sucking.

well i'm sure it's gonna be a pretty good spy movie but everyone will expect it to be like the game which won't translate well to the screen. too much plot in the games. they should turn portable ops into a movie.

You know I would prefer them just to make a anime movie with the graffics from MGS4. Instead of getting actors to do snake and stuff. Like the movie "300" cause most of that movie was drawings with computer software.

Cause i believe Konami could get a lincense to make a movie, but thats probably to much work for them to go through. All im saying is sence MGS4 has long ass cut scenes anyway, I'd think they would enjoy making a movie, just with a game engine.

but the whole point is a live action MGS movie not a cgi movie.
