    The New Gamers Forum Ventrilo Server
    A special thanks goes out to Dakafall for sponsoring Gamers Forum with a 30 slot Ventrilo server.

    The server is up and running and is currently accepting connections. You can view the GF Servers page located at the following link for connection details or you can read below: Gamers Forum :: PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, Fighting, FPS, Video Games - GF Servers

    Connect to the server downloading Ventrilo from Ventrilo.com and connecting to:

    IP: 69.46.35.181
    Port: 7865

    Or click the following link: GF Ventrilo Server

    No password is required to connect to the server, it is open to all members of Gamers Forum for any use.

    If you have any questions regarding the new Ventrilo server, please feel free to post them in this thread or open your own thread in this board.

    It's a bit like Teamspeak or Skype .. a voice comms program where you can chat to your gaming friends while you play.

    Where did you read that?

    Vent is mostly used by gamers. Although TS is used for that reason too. I'm not sure what's used more but we have both now.

    It probably is used for weapon and aircraft testing since it's a good tool, but I know it's not "just" for that.
