Dead Rising Opinions
while on amazon i noticed Dead Rising 2 on the PS3 for $30. i have free shipping and handling at the moment, so i'm thinking about picking it up.
what i want to know is if it's really worth it. i know $30 is a deal for a game that i've seen for no less than the normal asking price of your average newish PS3 game.
loved the first one.
got my money's worth.
is this one as good, better? or just plainly not worth it?

I can't comment on what it's like on the PS3, but it looked fairly average to me when I watched some reviews. I have the feeling it could be fun, but I suppose it depends what you want from a game .. for me it seemed like a week or two of fun at most, and personally i want more longevity from my games.
However, for the money it doesn't seem too bad a deal .. so might be worth renting first to see if it's something you could get in to?

I was thinking about getting this game, but I don't know... I think I'll just wait for the price to go down further in stores, rather than buying it online. I can't do that sometimes... unless if it's school stuff.

This might help decide if it's your kinda game or not .. Dead Rising 2 Review for PC - GameSpot .. it's wordy but gives a pretty good run-down.
I put some other ones on Game-Bank a while back if you want a couple more - Dead Rising 2 review/preview

I read the review.
It probably would be better to just rent it, see what i think before i buy it.
But, from reading the link you posted I'm rather interested and am pretty sure about buying it.
It is a good deal.
Thanks for the input, fellas.

renting would be a good choice man. you're welcome, i'm sure I will do that too. haha

If you loved the first one, get it. I wasn't a major fan of the first one, but liked the new one quite a bit. Way more fun to play

It pretty good on PS3. I played it for 3 days though and then sold it to my friend.
