    The Halo books.
Does anyone here read the Halo novels? Theyre pretty good, a lot of action...anyway, those of you that have, have you read the Forerunner novel, and is it any good? would you recommend it?

Theyre great, they really flesh out the story. I'm just worried that the Forerunner novel won't be as awesome, and as action-y without Spartans

my favorite so far is probably The Cole Protocol. Contact Harvest is great too. They both take place before the games. Contact Harvest's protagonist is Sergeant Johnson and it tells how Humanity first encountered The Covenant, which is awesome.

Only ones I haven't read are the Forerunner one and Contact Harvest. Not really too interested in Contact Harvest, I heard it was kind of mediocre. I like how they tried to flesh out the first game with The Flood, but the book was just.. bad. I liked the content, but the writing was rather horrid.

Ghosts of Onyx and Cole Protocol are probably my favorites.

Not don't read novels, not even video game novels. I just don't like reading.
