Just got out of the theater after watching this. I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in 2+ years. I heard there was a swedish version also. Has anyone seen both? What did you think of it?

I've seen both and I found I liked the swedish version better because it went into her story as well instead of "oh she's just ****ed up lol"
    and the ending was like
    the ****tiest ending lmao

The new one is good though, worth a watch.
The rape scene in both is pretty uh
unsettling. so if you're sensitive to that stuff you may want to just close your eyes lol

No joke. I have never read the book, so I wasn't prepared at all for it. I thought the movie was nearly perfect, especially the length. I didn't realize how long it was while I was watching because I was engrossed by it. I really thought Daniel Craig did amazing, which is a rarity for him since he first played Bond.

lol yeah the length was surprising. I knew it was long while I was watching it but thats only because my arse started getting numb.

I really liked him and the cat.
    until you know )':

I have seen both and would say that the david fincher interpretation was better, but both are somewhat similar. I really liked the intro/opening of it, reminded me of a james bond movie somehow.

I definitely have to finally see it. I just couldn't find someone who would have wanted to go to the cinema with me to watch it so I guess I definitely have to go alone if I want to see it before the Academy Award show.

I've seen both and I must say, if you want to watch it, watch the original Swedish version. It went deeper into the story, and was more about Lisbeth than the international release.

I have only seen the new one and I must say I didn't like it. But I read the book also. I think they could of made the movie a little better... They left out some stuff that I just thought should of been in there... But as with any book to movie adaption, the book is always better... The writer died after writing the books. Poor guy, didn't even get to enjoy all the money he would of gotten from it.
