Doesnt that defeat the purpose of playing the game? I know people that sold their D2 chars for hundreds as well. I just never understood the point. *shrugs*

Yea i don't get it either, but i've sold eve accounts, ofcourse i sold them for ingame cash so i could buy an item ingame which gave me free months of gameplay. :D

I want to try it with D3, but for some reason Im thinking it wont be as popular to sell D3 chars as it was for D2 chars.

some ebay bot put the price up to 5000$ selling it to a guy off ebay for 300

Yeah I think it's gonna be a bit different with their new item marketplace thing where you can pay real money for stuff, and with how well Blizz has been cracking down on bought accounts in WoW and SC2. It'll still be there just less common, I'd just go buy all the badass items I need xD
