Speed Test Thread 2.0

I figured I'd start a new Speed Test thread since the last one is old and everyone probably has a new ISP and computer by now.

Suppose to be a 20 and 2, but all over the place between 12 and 20 when i search.

I have a new computer but not a new ISP, I wish I did but TWC still has a monopoly in my area and I'm not allowed to upgrade over a 10 mbit connection :(

My highest has been just over 10mbit download and 1.2 mbit upload.

Grade...D+

They say speeds over 10mbit isn't available in my area and I called BS because if I try to order as a new customer, I can choose 25mbps. I pointed that out and was basically told that since I'm not a new customer I can't get those speeds. I don't understand their logic. It's not like I'm not gonna pay for it.

Meanwhile my friend (blackleo) lives a few miles away and he was able to upgrade to 20mbps last month without hassle, he's with TWC as well.

Wow, looks like U-Verse is really treating me well.

This is the fastest internet currently available in my town :/ Can't wait for school in the fall so I can actually get a good connection.
