Sig pic shows up too small

My sig pic is 500x200, but it doesn't show up as big as some other people's sig pics. How do I make it appear larger?

It's showing up for me when I inspect element that it's only 250x100. It might be because it's a .gif file and it was compressed to save space.

I'd try hosting the image with imgur and re-adding it to your signature. :)

I tried uploading it from imgur and kept getting the message "invalid file." The full size picture on imgur is 500x200 pixels and 75.4 KB.

Woops, don't upload from imgur! When you have your image on imgur, we'll saayyy this one http://i.imgur.com/f7isylQ.jpg what you're going to do is right click it and select "Copy image URL" from there you go to the page where you edit your sig and type in

[IMG] then you're going to copy in the URL and type in [/IMG] so it should look like (IMG)[url="http://i.imgur.com/f7isylQ.jpg (/IMG") and it will come out as

http://i.imgur.com/f7isylQ.jpg

Just remember to use [] instead of () or it won't work. I did it so it wouldn't add an image that wasn't really there.

I wasn't able to get it to work by typing it into the editing box, but when I used the insert image button and entered the URL, it worked perfectly. But you were very helpful in clarifying the whole image URL deal versus uploading the image. Thanks, Roflbryce! :D
