assassins creed/COD which ones do I get?

Hey dudes

I'm about to purchase my first console since the 90's - an XBOX ONE(I was always a Nintendo kid)although I'm clueless on modern gaming!

I'm looking to buy some cool games, particularly ASSASIN'S CREED and CALL OF DUTY … but there is like tons of them!? which ones do I get? which is the first relevant for xbox1? as I'd like to play them in order that you're supposed to.

Definitely Black Ops 3, it's a super fun game! There is no order in which you should buy lol...just whatever games interest you the most. I would probably suggest you going to youtube and checking out all the game play first for the games you like. Good luck and happy gaming :D

For Assassin's Creed, thankfully the modern games don't have a huge overarching story - you're pretty much good whichever one you get. That being said, I started with Black Flag and loved it - just make sure you understand a brief history of the Assassins and Templars. I can fill you in if you need.

If you want to start at the beginning, you're gonna have to go back and play like 5 games on the 360/ps3.
