Forum shut down for a Few Hours on 11/24/07

Later on today the Forum will be shut down for an hour or two for backups and a little upgrade of our review section along with a brand new front page. I have tested it out and it went great - just hope it's as smooth when I do it on the real board.

I cannot tell you the exact time it will go down but I can tell you that it will be for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Maximum will be 5 hours and that's only if I have to move the forum to another server.

Expect a downtime any where from 1 PM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time which is -5 GMT.

yeah but a bunch of people started posting - im just preparing the forum now - im sure u can see the game reviews category now :-) so the part where i have to shut down the forum is when i edit the database - i'll leave that out for later

Yeah it's a better idea to leave it for now. The forum is usually quieter later anyway.
