    Youtube Videos in your Profile!
I just added on a modification that lets you add your own youtube videos to your profile. It allows others to listen to your favorite music or look at your favorite video straight from your profile with ease. In order to use it properly, please read everything in this thread because it isn't as simple as you may think.

    1. First go to Your USERCP and on the left side bar click Edit Your Details
    2. Second, scroll down until you see it say "YouTube URL" and this is where you put your youtube URL, but not like the way you think.
    3. You need the Embed Code first, Let's say the embed code for the profile is listed below:

      Code:

      <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8X1Vvj20IHQ&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8X1Vvj20IHQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
The Highlighted area which is http://www.youtube.com/v/8X1Vvj20IHQ&hl=en - That's the one you put in there. You DO NOT put the Url you see in your address, bar, it will not work. Of course you can take the Youtube ID there and figure out where you can do from there on, but this is easiest to copy and paste.
    4. Then just Paste the Youtube View Video into the "YouTube URL" Field.
    5. Then scroll a bit further down until you see "YouTube Title" field. Just enter the name of the video or anything else you want. Doesn't really matter. It'll only show in your profile.
    6. And if you want the video to Auto Play, just scroll a bit further down until you see the "YouTube Auto-play" profile field. The Description tells you what to do if you want it to auto play.

Just Type in: &autoplay=1 If you want it to auto play and leave it blank if you don't.

It is just a normal plugin I am trying out. If it becomes abusive and annoying, you can expect to lose privilege to use this feature. You need to be a member for at least 24 hours and have at least 10 posts to be able to use this function!

If you have any questions or concerns or are confused about how this works, just post here or make your own thread in the Questions & Suggestions board and I'll try to help you to my best of ability.

Feel free to look at my profile as an example, I posted my Tetris Video as the example. So enjoy this new feature to your profile!

    autoplay scares me though D:
cause my computer lags on pages with videos on them, so it'll be like "lag laglaglaglag audio?" haha

lol, well this miniaturizes the youtube video making it to use less resources so lag is unlikely unless you have dial up lol

i can turn off auto play if I want but I like giving people the freedom to choose what they want, i don't like it though lol
