Favorite Game Genre

What is your favorite game genre?

I prefer FPS/Shooters over most games. But at times I'll play MMORPGs rather than FPS.

After that comes fighting followed by Racing Games.

If you asked me the question 3 years ago I would have said Fighting games without hesitation, I used to play a lot of mortal kombat, DBZ, street fighter, and a lot of other fighting games for my sega and Playstation (2) - but tastes change.

And maybe 4-5 years ago I was really into Strategy games so MMORPG wasn't even on my top 5 favorite type games.

What's your favorite?

I know this question has been asked before but since then we have a whole new audience and I didn't feel like bumping any of the old threads.

I want more games like Portal.
I like those FPS/Strategy games, I enjoyed it alot.

I like RPG's and MMORPG's more, but I probably play more FPS.

RPG/MMORPG ftw!

I play RPG's mostly, and sometimes action/adventure. (MGS, Shadow of the colossus, ect)

I like games such as Zelda

Shooters for me :-) Love them, I like killing other people on them lol

I can't pick any one Genre. I have to switch it up often or I get burnt out.

My favorite games are generally shoot-em-ups. I also love strategy and racing games. RPGs can be fun as well.
