Although everyone in Hollywood says that Fox only wants a cut of the money by suing Warner Bros. to stop its Watchmen movie, Fox doesn't seem to be on the same page. The studio has gone on record as saying that it only wants to stop Warner's movie from ever getting released, and now, it's asking for a June 2009 court date—which just happens to be later than Watchmen's scheduled March 2009 premiere. Warner wants an April date, so—unless this thing gets settled out of court between now and then, this is going to push back Watchmen until next summer at the earliest.

Since Fox is being a bunch of assholes—seriously, as the NY Times points out (quoted from Newsarama) "Warner Bros. says that Fox “sat silently” as producer Lawrence Gordon took Watchmen 'to studio after studio with Fox’s express knowledge'"—and Warner has a pretty decent case—I bet this thing is going to trial. And I bet it won't be quick, and if we see Watchmen it'll be in 2010.

So yeah...sorry about that. On the plus side, here's an awesome Lego Owlship:
    titlecard2.jpg
Reasonably Clever's Chris Doyle made the awesome set, complete with an interior and little Lego figures of the Nite Owl and Rorschach—check it out here. Just try to enjoy and not think about how there's finally going to be an awesome Watchmen movie but you're not going to be able to see it.

A young football recruit is in the process of selecting his college of choice. While visiting Notre Dame, he notices a golden phone sitting on coach Charlie Weis' desk.

"What is that?" the recruit asks.

Weis responds, "That's the phone to heaven. All college coaches have one."

Ecstatic, the recruit asks if he can use the phone.

"Sure," Weis replies, "but it'll cost you $100 per minute."

Disheartened, knowing he can't afford the call, the recruit thanks Coach Weis for his time.

While visiting Cal, the recruit sees the same gold phone on the Jeff Tedford's desk. "Is that the phone to heaven?" he asks Tedford.

    "Yes, it is," Tedford responds.

"How much is it to call heaven?" he inquires.

"It's $100 per minute, son," Tedford responds.

Again saddened, he leaves the office.

At his last stop, USC, the recruit spies the gold phone on Pete Carroll's desk.

Noticing the glance, Carroll says, "That's the phone to--"

    The recruit interrupted him.

"--to heaven. I know," he said disappointed.

    "What's the matter?" Carroll asked.

"Well," the recruit started, "it's so expensive to call I can't afford it!"

Carroll responds, "Expensive? Son, it doesn't cost anything to call heaven from here!"

Confused, the recruit says, "Really? When I was at the other schools, it cost $100 per minute!"

Smiling, Carroll responds, "Well, son, that's because here, it's a local call."
    i got a chuckle

Yea, we have 15 players and our Freshman running back is injured already. So we have 14 and like 9 of them all suck. We have one guy on our line who can block. The last game our quarter back got sacked 23 times. When I told him no, hes like "You don't have to come to practices, you could just come to the games if you learn the plays." I told him I would try it out and see how fast I get killed. I don't want to play really, because I'm trying out for varsity Basketball team.

Our class is actually, the biggest freshman class in 10 years. We just don't have many football players. Our school has always sucked in football. We have a lot of good basketball players though. We could probably have 2 or 3 freshman bball teams. Anyway, I got to go early so I can learn the plays. I like I'm going to be playing running back considering our got injured last game. That's what he told me on the phone. He said Running back and probably Defense tackle.... He thinks I'm good at football or something? Though I don't see how I could do any worse than the other plays on the team.

NFL Head Coach coming on PSN is a shocker to me. EA charging 50 is rediculous considering you could buy Madden CE with it for what 90?(so basically they say it's worth 30) and 50 at retail and considering game prices inflate do disc manufacturing and other things, NFL Head Coach should be like 35 bucks considering it's just a software

Well, I played DT the last time I played football. I played running back because I'm fast. I can run the 100 in 13.5, at least that's my record. Plus I'm sure whoever played DT before sucked.

El Dorado (Spanish for "the golden one") is a legend that began with the story of a South American tribal chief who covered himself with gold dust and would dive into a lake of pure mountain water.

The legend began in the 1530s, in the Andes of present-day Colombia, where conquistador Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada first found the Muisca, a nation in the modern day Cundinamarca and Boyacá highlands of Colombia, in 1537.

The story of Muisca rituals was brought to Quito by Sebastián de Belalcázar's men; mixed with other rumors, there arose the legend of 'El Dorado' (meaning the Golden Man rather than a place - 'el indio dorado', the golden Indian or 'El Rey Dorado', The Golden King).

Imagined as a place, El Dorado became a kingdom, an empire, the city of this legendary golden king. Deluded by a similar legend, Francisco Orellana and Gonzalo Pizarro would depart from Quito in 1541 in a famous and disastrous expedition towards the Amazon Basin; as a result of this, however, Orellana became the first person to navigate the Amazon River all the way to its mouth.

Kingdom of Castile was one of the medieval kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula. It emerged as a political autonomous entity in the 9th century. It was called County of Castile and was held in vassalage from the Kingdom of León. Its name comes from the host of castles constructed in the region. It was one of the kingdoms that founded the Crown of Castile, and the Kingdom of Spain.

The Iberian Peninsula, or Iberia, is located in the extreme southwest of Europe, and includes modern day Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar and a very small part of France. It is the westernmost of the three southern European peninsulas (the Iberian, Italian, and Balkan peninsulas). It is bordered on the south-east and east by the Mediterranean Sea, and on the north, west and south-west by the Atlantic Ocean. The Pyrenees form the northeast edge of the peninsula, separating it from the rest of Europe. In the south, it approaches the northern coast of Africa. It is the second largest peninsula in Europe, with an area of 582 860 km². The name "Iberia" was also used since the times of Ancient Greece and Rome for another territory at the opposite corner of Europe, Caucasian Iberia, in modern day Georgia.
